I am just a song machine
put a quarter in me maybe you can watch me dance and sing
there aint much esle that i know how to do
i can open up a beer and i can probably drink it to
put me at a job and i'll be quite confused
i'll crack a few jokes and i'll be fired in month or two
and if they don't fire me its likely ill quit
theres a limited amount of time
i can do someone elses shit
I am just a ramblin fool
Aint got much use in society
I aint got no special tools
unless you count, sittn around feelin sorry for yourself
or writing love songs about somebody else
or staying up late for no reason at all
cept the moon is bright and she's making her call
I am just somebody else's tool
I'd like to think im free but i know thats not true
so i'll stay away just as long as i can
what the hell am i supposed to do i am only a man
I am just a song machine
put a quarter in me maybe you can watch me dance and sing
I am just a song machine
put a quarter in me maybe you can watch me dance and sing
You can watch me dance and sing
The album art is what drew me first to this album, although I had already heard a different album. Loved that one, loved this one. Just genuinely feel-good music. jskaloney
this album truly feels like a journey. there is a strong atmosphere of transience and solidarity, a feeling of constant change. if you commit yourself to listening through, you will come out a different person. crowskult
Comme d'habitude, j'ai bien du mal à choisir une "favorite track" avec ce groupe de Trashgrass qui excelle dans son domaine.
Mais là, j'ai réussi à me décider finalement. XD EklektikTrip
A look back at the late Bert Jansch's 1985 classic, "From The Outside," an album that bridges the gap between his native Scotland and the Americana his music invokes. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 14, 2016
